OPI (Office Products International) recognized Samsill Corporation’s 50th anniversary milestone, marking half a century of American manufacturing and product innovation in the office products industry.
Founded on April 1, 1953 by Cecil and Tirey Samsill in Fort Worth, Texas, the company grew from a small family plastics business into one of the world’s largest independently owned manufacturers of ring binders and organization products. The 50-year mark represented decades of sustained growth, domestic manufacturing, and product development serving the school, office, and consumer markets.
Samsill has remained headquartered and manufacturing in Fort Worth, Texas throughout its history.
